Zynx AmbulatoryCare Update

Currently, we are in discussions with the major electronic medical record (EMR) vendors regarding the integration of Zynx’s ambulatory evidence-based decision support. This content is designed to power health maintenance and disease management functionality in EMR software. Zynx AmbulatoryCare decision support ensures that an EMR's health maintenance templates, order sets, quality reports, and alerts and reminders are all based on the latest evidence-based guidelines and national performance measures. Zynx AmbulatoryCare content covers more than 100 diseases and conditions that are commonly seen in a primary care setting.

For practices without an EMR, Zynx AmbulatoryCare also provides guidelines, checklists, and order sets that help improve quality in paper-based workflows.

We are happy to report that with the recent Stark Law exception, it may be possible for hospitals to subsidize the purchase of Zynx AmbulatoryCare when enhancing their EMRs. Zynx AmbulatoryCare can be a key part of your organization’s efforts to meet the Federal Trade Commission’s definition of clinical integration, thus legally enabling a group of provider organizations to negotiate collectively with payers.
