ZynxOrder Update

We continue to add new content to ZynxOrder, and are currently focusing on symptom- and procedure-based order sets. We added 15 new modules in the 4th quarter of 2007, and plan to add dozens of additional modules during the first and second quarters of 2008. The symptom-based order sets (eg, Flank Pain, Fever, Back Pain) are designed for use in the ED, while the new procedure-based content focuses on common medical procedures.

On the technology front, we’re very excited about the upcoming release of AuthorSpace™ 1.7. This new version, scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2008, includes several major new features designed to enhance the appearance of paper-based order sets, simplify order set maintenance, improve project and task management, and facilitate feedback in ViewSpace™. More information on the upgrade, including a training schedule, will be coming soon.
