March 2013
This edition of Zynx Update provides important information concerning changes to Zynx Health evidence-based decision support that occurred as of March 17, 2013. These changes may affect your order sets, plans of care, or other Zynx Health content.
Of special interest in this release is the addition of three new modules (Eating Disorders, Rehabilitation – Pulmonary, and Transition of Care) to ZynxCare; interdisciplinary evidence on these topics has also been added to ZynxEvidence.
The new ZynxAmbulatory Pediatric Preventive Care and Screening Depression Screening submodule covers screening of pediatric patients 12 years or older, as well as screening of the mothers of infants 6 months or younger. Performance measures for depression screening in both of these populations are components of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) ARRA EHR Stage 2 Meaningful Use.
All ZynxOrder order sets updated for release this quarter have undergone streamlining. There are no longer any “Starter” order sets in our ZynxOrder content.
