Setting Tabbed Browser Settings in Internet Explorer 7.X

When using Internet Explorer 7.X, set Internet Explorer to open links from other programs in a new tab in the current window.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Select Tools > Internet Options from the Internet Explorer menu bar to open the Internet Options dialog box.
  2. In the Tabs area, click the Settings button.
  3. In the Open links from other programs in area, select A new tab in the current window.
  4. Click the OK button to close the Tabbed Browsing Settings dialog box.
  5. Click the OK button to close the Internet Options dialog box.
